18 Kloof Street, Cape Town
My son and I were in Cape Town last week. We both had separate appointments, and agreed to meet up afterwards for a bite to eat and something to drink. When we drove past Unfiltered, he noticed the sign on the wall outside that said "Draft beers - R25.00", therefore that was him "sold" on where we would meet. I always enjoy trying new places and thought this was a perfect opportunity for my food and wine blog in Cape Town.
Unfiltered is nestled in a historical Victorian house, and is a very casual and comfortable setting right in the heart of the trendy City Bowl area.
They have an extensive menu which includes burgers, tacos and super cool named pizzas. A few examples of their pizza names are "5 seasons in 1 day" which is ham, mushroom, olives, artichokes and avo, all served on separate slices. Another example is "Italian Stallion", which is smoked mozarella, parma ham and fresh rosemary.
