McGregor Valley
Lord's Wine is situated at the end of the picturesque McGregor Valley.
This was our first visit to Lord's, therefore I was excited to review it for my food and wine blog in Cape Town.
It is perched high up on the mountain and has breathtaking views and vineyards 500m above sea level.
They offer wine tasting, cheese & charcuterie platters, as well as an event venue and two luxury apartments should you wish to stay overnight.

Contact UtopiaContact Lord's WinesWe decided to visit Lords for some wine tasting and a bite to eat.
They offer two MCC's, namely the Brut Rosé and the Brut, which are really reasonably priced at R179.00 each. The bubbly was delicious, and it was difficult to choose a favourite among the two.
We then went on to taste their six wines: The Sauvignon Blanc, the Pinot Noir Rosé (which was refreshingly delightful), their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and finally their Three Barrel Shiraz. The Three Barrel Shiraz was out of this world, and priced at R300 at bottle.
We ordered a cheese & charcuterie platter that was out of this world. It came with fresh farm bread and was delicious.
I would highly recommend you visit Lord's Wines, as their wines are as stunning as their views, and I really enjoyed reviewing it for my food and wine blog in Cape Town.
