Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa
Sauvage Restaurant Degustation Wine and Dinner Experience
16 Minor Rd, Franschhoek
Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa is situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, in a Town in South Africa’s Western Cape, with centuries-old vineyards and incredible Cape Dutch architecture. It is one of those amazing little towns which you don't want to leave once you've visited it. Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa evokes that exact same feeling.
We were invited to a six course Degustation Wine and Dinner Experience, therefore you can only imagine how excited I was to review this for my food and wine blog. (The French name for a tasting menu is "menu dégustation").
From the minute we walked into the Hotel, we were warmly welcomed by all the staff. They all went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that all our needs were met.
Our host for the evening, Annelize Ferreira from Dream Resorts, was absolutely amazing and we had an incredible evening. We started off the evening with pre-dinner drinks, and then moved into the Sauvage Restaurant for a wonderful culinary delight.

If you haven't yet visited Sauvage Restaurant at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa, I would highly recommend that you treat yourself and your loved ones to this magical experience - you won't be disappointed. Le Franschhoek is the perfect destination for a corporate event, a romantic dinner for two or a small or large family function.
I really enjoyed reviewing this experience for my food and wine blog in Cape Town, and I look forward to my next visit to Franschhoek, and in particular to Sauvage at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa.
